Lifting One Another Up
This is why RWIT exists.
We’re not just a community. We’re a movement rooted in the belief that when we truly show up for each other, things happen. Built on a shared purpose, we are here to foster genuine connection, mutual support, and a more human-centered future for our industry. Every event, conversation, and initiative is in service of that mission.
One of the most consistent ways we bring this to life is through our monthly virtual mixers. Since launching, we’ve hosted 14 sessions focused on both professional and personal growth. In June, our friends from HR Assemble led a powerful conversation on navigating conflict—inviting us to approach tension with intention, and to transform discomfort into deeper connection and clarity.
This month, we’re holding space for something that touches so many right now: navigating career change. On Friday, July 18th from 12–1pm EST, we’ll gather virtually to explore what’s next—together. From job search strategies to personal branding to asking the big, often uncomfortable questions, this session is all about showing up for one another through the unknown. Register here.
And while we love the power of digital connection, nothing compares to the energy of being together in person. In just the first half of this year, we’ve connected in NYC, Palm Springs, San Francisco, Las Vegas, and even Barcelona. Coming this fall: LA, NYC, SF, and Austin.
We’re now ready to go further and more local. We're looking for Community Connector Leads in cities across the globe to help us unlock our “localization strategy.” Many of you have raised your hand before—we’re now ready for you! Last month reinforced that Retail Women in Tech isn’t just a community, it’s a catalyst. It’s not about collecting contacts; it’s about creating belonging. From San Francisco to New York, to experiencing retail in service of humanity in Honduras with RetailROI, we saw firsthand what happens when women and allies show up for each other with openness, intention, and purpose. These moments aren’t fleeting — they ripple.
